| About LA-ex.org Thank you for stopping by my humble tribute to the USS LOS ANGELES (SSN 688), her officers and men. The goal of the Web site is to educate visitors about life on board a nuclear powered, fast
attack submarine in the United States Submarine Force. I hope to accomplish this goal by sharing my experiences and those of my fellow crew aboard one of the most significant ships in our countries modern naval history. I have attempted to create a Web site that is both platform (Mac, Compaq compatible, WebTV) and browser (AOL, Mosaic, Navigator, Internet Explorer) independent. Recently, I have added features that require version 4.0 or greater of the most common browsers
for complete compatibility. If you experience any problems while interacting with LA-ex.org please go to the support forum on LA-ex.org: Shoot The Breeze and let me know your configuration (computer, operating system, resolution of your video card & monitor, screen size, browser name and revision number) and the problem encountered. I am also very
open to suggestions on how I can improve LA-ex.org and enhance your experience with the site. Please make your suggestions or provide your feedback in the appropriate forums on LA-ex.org: Shoot The Breeze. The site was created using: NetObjects TurboFusion 4.0; Compaq DeskPro 5660 running Microsoft Windows98; Compaq QVISION 210 21" Monitor. All digital scanning and editing
was done using a Mustek MFS-12000SP Color Scanner and Micrografx Picture Publisher. Graphic conversions were done using TurboBrowser by Gold Coast Software. Some graphics were created using NetStudio. I am having great fun being the author and custodian of this Web site. I hope you have as much fun exploring LA-ex.org. Sincerely, Shannon Clyde Webmaster & Author of LA-ex.org: Virtual Home Port of USS LOS ANGELES,
