of the USS LOS ANGELES, SSN-688 is the "jumping dolphins" patch, it was not the crew's first choice. They preferred a patch remeniscent of those worn by WWII submarine crews. The "Primus Audax Custos" design better represents the ship's mission, crew's attitude, and image of themselves. This patch is extremely rare as very few were made. | |
