Ships History

    The Ships Log offers a written, partial,  history of the USS LOS ANGELES, SSN-688. The history  been compiled from several unclassified, official sources:

  • command history reports,
  • operations summary reports,
  • Welcome Aboard pamphlets, and
  • Commissioning program.

 In some cases, when these official sources were not available, personal notes, newspapers, interviews, and other resources were used.
