Carp Class Submarine

U. S. NAVY INTRODUCES NEW SUBMARINEPicture

(AP) - The Department of Defense and the Chief of Naval Operations today announced plans for a new submarine-like ultimate weapon.

The ship, a nuclear powered deep submergence vessel, bears a remarkable resemblance to the beloved carp. The CNA says, "Its mission is to lay on the bottom of enemy shipping lanes and suck the ships down to crush depth, much like a carp would rid out waters of floating garbage."

While the Carp Class subs are only on the drawing boards and national security prohibits the publication of how the ship will accomplish its task, high sources claim the bow resembles arge fish-like lips.

Newport News Shipbuilding & Drydock Company has been awarded the contract as garbage-like qualities are desireable in the Carp Class submarines.

OUCH! The opinions expressed herein about the Newport News Shipbuilding &Drydock Company are solely that of the authors of Carp Chronicles and not necessarily those of the author-designer of LA_x.
