| | | | "Pablo Pickasshole" aka Terry Doerscher |
 |
 | | Terry Doerscher aka "Pablo Pickasshole" filled the gap as unofficial ship's artist left by Steve McVicar. While McVicar leaned towards the fine side of art, Terry's art had bite. As Pablo Pickasshole, Terry managed to convey the tedium of submarine life with a healthy dose of sarcasm mixed with a sense of humor. Terry's "One Day In The I. O." series is a diary of sorts, chronicling life aboard
the LA from a nukes perspective. Terry was also responsible for the design of several of the early LA T-shirts. I managed to save one and my son loves to wear it as a night shirt. Terry's "Enter The Dragon"
design for the cruise shirt of 1980 WESTPAC is an awesome example of his talent.
